I am a seasoned leader and entrepreneur with over 30 years of international experience in the electronics and appliances industry. My career spans various leadership roles across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Americas, giving me a deep understanding of business, marketing, and product creation.
With a solid foundation in electronics and telecommunications, I started my journey at Philips, where I spent over 18 years in key positions. From Quality Manager and Production Engineer to Product Manager, I developed expertise in manufacturing, product development, and branding.
Driven by my passion for innovation, I ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing successful consumer goods companies in the United States and the Asia-Pacific region. Through these ventures, I leveraged my industry knowledge and leadership skills to create impactful businesses.
Complementing my practical experience, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electronics with a specialization in Telecommunications. Additionally, I have pursued postgraduate courses in Marketing, Product Management, and Business Management, further enhancing my skills in strategic decision-making and market analysis.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with renowned brands and retailers, including Philips, Vizio, Belkin, Hama, and various private label brands for retailers such as Walmart, Tesco, Amazon, Best Buy, and more. These partnerships have enriched my expertise in areas like branding, distribution, sourcing, manufacturing, and consulting.
One of my notable achievements was leading a breakthrough for Philips Sound Accessories in 1998. By implementing innovative marketing strategies and introducing compelling product and packaging designs, I positioned the brand as a market leader. I also spearheaded operational improvements, revenue growth, and profitability enhancements, strengthening Philips’ competitive position.
